Go to the Project menu and open the project's Properties.  The default tab that comes up should be Dependencies, and you can add the reference to System::Data there.  There are a number of references that are added automatically when you create a new Windows Forms project from a template, but I don't think System::Data is one of them.  Does this fix the problem?
